A new film is coming out soon about this 2005 incident. The U.S. military (and probably other countries as well) train their soldiers to be killers, but not to discriminate about who they kill. And obviously they don't de-train them when they return to civilianhood, which is why these incidents are occurring. Vietnam was a similar sort of war in which the rules and morals and ethics were blurred, and the military spread disinformation about many mass killings by their soldiers.wakeupandsmellthecoffeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04602735058278146250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7383306914248068494.post-78949100053432632502008-01-21T18:48:00.000-08:002008-01-21T18:48:00.000-08:00I thought that was one thing they were not doing t...I thought that was one thing they were not doing this time around, criticizing the troops who have served in Iraq despite hating the war itself. I suppose it is almost inevitable as the war drags on.jmbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13563252743976699923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7383306914248068494.post-58141249745114774062008-01-21T14:07:00.000-08:002008-01-21T14:07:00.000-08:00Very thought provoking.
