Passover

We are off to the north of Texas and my favourite in-laws for Passover. A short hop on a crop-duster and the adorable husband will pick us up at the Austin airport. Apparently the Golf School was a big hit for him and dear son. Then out to the wilds of Texas at Evant, home of adorable husband's brother and his wonderful wife. I love going out there - cats, horses, hills, great food, nice people - what's not to like.

Updates on my return.

Ciao

In Italy one summer, there were about a dozen semi-feral cats at the villa we were staying in. They looked well-fed enough, so I guess someone must have been feeding them - but it was always my little dream that if the villa were my own, I'd have had a row of little bowls along the wall outside the kitchen, and fed the pretty creatures myself. (I think I even wrote the scene into my blog-story, I Beatrice.)

Now though, you have brought the dream to pictorial life for me (albeit in Texas, not Tuscany!) and I couldn't be more delighted.

Wonderful. Thank you!

You are going to heaven. Seriously, how lovely is that place... is it real? Tell me it's real.

It's real love. Very real, and I love visiting. The history is even better - I have to do a post on it soon. It is the restored home of a real Texas Ranger!
Thank you for coming by.
