goody!

Look what Winchester Whisperer sent to me! I'm so tickled. I don't believe I've ever been called a "dude" before. I feel very cool. Thank you WW for thinking of me, I appreciate the award and the thoughts that go with it. I pass it on to Ian, James, Mutleythedog, and Stay at home Dad - because I can.

Many congratulations. Are you a Bodacious Blogger yet, because I have this very award to pass on to you if not....?

no I am not! Oh my, more venacular of the "cool"! Where was I when people were coming up with these expressions? Tolstoy no doubt...

Congratulations, my erudite and beautiful friend -- sorry, but you're much too lovely to be a dude -- and thank you for sending it my way.

Well congratulations, I think. I too have received this award doing the rounds but I definitely think it is a male award and you have passed it on as if you also consider it so.

And I have yet another award for you on my blog. You'll be running out of room on your mantle.

You are the furthest thing from a 'Dude' in my mind, and I mean that as a sincere compliment!

Congrats on the award.

It MUST be cool to be a dude, don't you think? I admit it's not the first word which springs to mind when one thinks of you - but congrats anyway; it's splendidly well deserved.

I too have been much moved by the immensely courageous peaceful mass protests in Burma. The present noises from Washington sound more promising - and one is reassured to hear that China is unlikely to think it in her own best interests to intervene. In such situations, one has to be grateful for small, if dubious mercies I daresay....

Though I have to admit that my own most ardent hope lies in the possibility that the army itself will somehow find courage to refuse to act against so many of the country's holiest men. Any hope of that, do you think?

I like your little side-bar update thingy btw - I really enjoy reading your little daily entries. Is it difficult to instal? I have a feeling it might be useful to have such a thing myself. It would help account for delays and diversions perhaps, as health (and confidence) wax and wane...
