I have to go look at houses today (oh yes, sigh, such a chore - not; how lucky am I, I know this) so here are a couple of new sites I found that are fun.

There are a number of stitching bloggers who write about the "old lady" hobby, which seems to fit with your feeling about "girliness". Personally, I try to avoid anything that looks "country" or "sampler", unless it's really irresistibly cute. I love your Egyptian piece. Welcome to the directory, and I will definitely be back!
