A story in two parts: with the II part first, because you know.. the time difference.

And when he was ill he lay on the bed, on the girl, and the mother read Harry Potter to him as he snuggled up to her. And now look at the pretty cat!

Pretty kitty!! I hope his travel to America will go smoothly. Glad he is up and about again!

It must have been the Harry Potter that kept his spirits up.
He surely does look in fine shape now.

Kind Q, lucky kitten and who wouldn't get better having HP read to them?
Thank you so much for my Courageous Blogger award. I feel very honoured and yes you're right, haven't been around for a while, but did catch your 10,0000 edition yesterday.
The daughter goes off to her new life tomorrow. Mother twitchy, daughter excited. Right way round, I suppose!

thank you. he's all prepared and apparently quite happy to be going to the land of huge markets, lavish parks, sky-high buildings, and endless a/c.

thank you for coming by.

reminds me of my late cat Benny. he was born in my bed, i watched him come to this world, the cutest cat ever. he smelled vanilla. Growing up, he was struck by evil eye. Mysterious fevers, car accident that caused him to lose a leg, then another bicycle accident caused him more damages in the same leg. fortunately, he had a loving family to take care of him, i believe that he rewarded us by fighting to miraculously recover each time. But one day, at sunset, he was gone...
i miss him, and still frequently call Chachou (my new cat) by his name.
May M.C live with Q a long, long, good and happy life.

thank you for coming by.
