Beautiful, but how do you get your tan with all those clothes on?

Great pics..... not having had the chance to travel I cannot imagine what it must be like to live away from England.
When i go to Corsica with Geoff in june it will be the furthest i've ever traveled ...scary or what :-)

Oh but how grand you are going! I love Corsica. I am sure you will as well. You know it is never too late to become a world traveler.... Let me know when you are coming my way. I volunteer as guide.

Thank you for coming by.

Lots of lovely young men frolicking on that beach!

But where are the women? Are they allowed only to sit on the walls in their hijabs (or whatever)? Watching.

It's a wicked shame, that's what it is! What I wait for is the hour of female revolt. Do you think it will ever come?

I remember sitting on the edge of the big sandpit in Regents Park with my grand-daughter. In the very shadow of the Mosque it was - so that the other Mummies there could only ever get so far as to take their shoes off now and then, and wriggle their toes in the sand.

I saw it as some faint stiring of a beginning. But probably I was wrong.

Oh no I do think it is much better here. There were mothers and young women in the water, but they wore trousers or their djellabas. The women I saw seemed to be enjoying themselves and there was no heckling of the few I saw in bathing suits. Not what we would consider grand, but I think perhaps they do.
Thank you for coming by.

Great photos, we had a recent spell of good weather here and ended up at the beach too, but still had to wear our jumpers as the wind was a little chilly and the atlantic is freezing. Still, it was fun.

I love the photos and my favourite I think is the Incoming Sand Storm one, looks spectacular.

By the way, is that Essaouira? I went to Essaouira a few years ago and I remember a city wall but not being that close to the beachand I don't remember a promenade. My journey round Morocco was Tangier, Meknes, Fez, the desert (forget the name of the place)up the Atlas, Marrakech and Essaouira (sp?).

Thank you. That was some trip, you must have seen a great deal of the country.

The photographs are taken in Rabat. The tall walls are the back side of the huge fort. we live inside.
Thank you for coming by.

go buy some dirt and bleach it. spread it around a tub full of water. Set up a chair such that you can put your feet in. Optional would be a small table for books and wine.
thank you for coming by.

Hi Lady McLeod,
I loved the photos although all those young men on the beach did concern me too. But if you say there were women there I'll believe you. Too bad that Islam is not a religion of the cold regions so that the women could be more comfortable all hidden away.
That said, I am always covered because I burn so easily so cover everything I can with SPF 50 on the exposed areas.
